Well I welcome you back to a new year and trust that you all had a wonderful winter break. It's hard to believe that we only have 6 months left before this school year is over!!
REMINDERS
1) Next Monday, Jan. 20th, school will be closed in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day
2) If you haven't yet paid a deposit for the 5th grade overnight field trip, and your child is attending, please could you send that into us as soon as possible.
3) 5th grade students are going to begin working on their cultural/heritage report with an oral presentation due in approximately 3 weeks. I will be sending home information about what the expectations are for the report by the end of the week.

Vocabulary: copy definitions
Reading: RAZ Kids
Math: 11-5 Practice Q 1-6
